3. Personal Identification Information that Ace & Ivy Collects
When you visit the Site, set up a user account on the Site, place an order on the Site, fill out a form, send us an email, respond to a survey or otherwise interact with the Site, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address, telephone number and credit card information. Ace & Ivy may also collect information related to the pages you browse, the type of products you are interested in and other information related to your shopping choices. Please note you may always browse the Site as a guest and refuse to supply personal identification information; however, your ability to interact with certain parts of the Site may not be possible.
4. Non-Personal Identification Information that Ace & Ivy Collects
Ace & Ivy may collect non-personal identification information when you interact with the Site, which may include your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address, the type of browser or computer, technical information related to your connection to the site, and other similar information.
6. How Ace & Ivy Uses this Information
Certain information collected from you is used within the context of providing our services to you. Ace & Ivy will look at information related to how you use the site (which pages you access, etc) and any feedback you provide to us in order to improve the user experience on the website and customer service. Ace & Ivy will also use information you provide to us to process transactions, respond to customer inquiries and to send marketing emails if you opt in to receive them. When you provide your credit card information, this is stored according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI-DSS”) as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After the purchase is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
7. Information Sharing
If you make a purchase on the Site, Ace & Ivy will share your name, address, phone number and email address with the seller from whom you purchased the item. Ace & Ivy will never share your credit card information with these sellers. All sellers who retail their products through Ace & Ivy have agreed that they may contact customers regarding their order, but may not use their contact details for anything else. Please note your credit card and personal information will also be shared with the payment gateway(s) and e-commerce host that Ace & Ivy employs which have their own privacy policies. Ace & Ivy does not sell, trade or rent your personal identification information. In dealings with our business partners, advertising agencies and trusted affiliates we may share aggregated information about user demographics, but this will not include any personal identification information.
8. Email Marketing
With your permission, which is deemed to be implied if you open an account on the Site, we may send you emails about our store, new products, services and activities and other information we believe would be of interest to you. You may always opt out from these emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
9. Third Party Sites
In order to protect your personal information, Ace & Ivy takes reasonable precautions and follows industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. All credit card information received is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. All PCI-DSS requirements are followed in addition to other generally accepted industry standards. Ace & Ivy cannot guarantee that your information will not be lost or misused, but we make a committed effort to ensure that it remains protected.
11. Google Analytics
Ace & Ivy uses Google Analytics to help learn who visits the Site and the pages that are being looked at.
12. Mergers & Acquisitions
If Ace & Ivy is merged with or acquired by a third-party company, your information may be transferred to the new entity.
